Mohan,
an Indian born Technocrat, has been in the field of
Global Software Development, consulting and management
for over a decade. His passion and interest in the workings
of offshoring and outsourcing has inspired him to write
this book.
During
the course of his career in globalization and management,
Mohan has had an opportunity to work with Government,
multinational and Fortune 500 companies in the US, UK
and India. His life and work in the vibrant field of
Information Technology during the past decade has taken
him around the globe: UK (London, Welwyn Garden City,
Manchester, 1995-97), US (Kentucky, Colorado, California
1997- Present).

The author
is a Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) [Mysore
University India] and a Master of Business Administration
[Technology Management, University
of Colorado, USA] He is also PMP (Project Management
Professional), and actively participates in some of the forums
of the PMI (Project Management Institute). He presented a paper
at PMI's Global Congress in Singapore where he anchored a guided
design on Offshoring Management Framework, ideas for which were
extracted from the research for the book.
Mohan is
a regular columnist for Express Computers IT People
. He is also a columnist for Biz India. Mohan has also
written articles and papers for a number of international technical
and non-technical publications including IEEE, Silicon India,
Business Integration Journal and Deccan Herald. Mohan has also
written an Online Book on "Professional Life in the US"
that is available for free download.
